Steve Bowden is a dedicated Director on the board of the Murray Valley Aboriginal Cooperative (MVAC), where he plays a key role in providing leadership and governance to advance Indigenous welfare initiatives in the Robinvale district.

With a strong focus on community involvement, Steve also serves as a Committee Member of the Robinvale Manatunga Sports Club, promoting inclusive participation in sports for all age groups. Alongside his governance contribution, he is a registered Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner, ensuring culturally safe and accessible healthcare services for his community.

Steve has further enhanced his governance expertise through the Governance for Not-for-Profit Organisations course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors, reflecting his commitment to effective leadership and community well-being.
