Amber Ison is a valued member of the Murray Valley Aboriginal Cooperative (MVAC) board, where she provides leadership and governance to support the implementation of Indigenous welfare programs in the Robinvale district.

Amber brings extensive experience in community health and cultural care, serving as a Community Health Liaison Officer and Coordinator. Her work focuses on advocating for the elderly, ensuring community health needs are met, and fostering culturally safe practices.

She has enhanced her governance expertise through the Governance Foundations for Non-Profit Directors course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors, reflecting her commitment to building stronger, healthier communities.
