We love our kids and it was a joy to celebrate National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day with them. The day has been marked each year since 1988 to celebrate the birthdays of First Nations people taken from their families at a young age – the Stolen Generations.
The kids had a great time learning about our Culture and community, with colouring and face painting activities to keep them busy. Find out more about what's been happening at MVAC in this month's newsletter.

On February 17th, Jo from Pebbletime facilitated a one-hour Music and Movement session that was both enriching and exciting. Find out more in this month's newsletter.
We are at the midway point of our 12-week swimming program and the progress has been deadly! Since starting on December 1st, our kids (ages 3+) have been showing up at the pool with incredible energy and determination.
As we reach the end of 2025, the Board and Staff at MVAC want to say a huge thank you to our community. This year has been a powerful testament to our collective strength, culture, and connection.
